Here is a brief summary of the Milan furniture fair – which was a bit more quiet this year (-> no Eurocucina)

• still very much Uni
• less white, but grey colors also in different gradations
• significantly more black
• colorful unis in various directions, aqua / mint / light blue as well as nude rose and “greenery” (pantone) + moss or forest green
• 80-90% matt surfaces
• with the exception of the office and children ‘s furniture, almost everything is painted
• Wood: walnut with florets, like Carini or natural oak as our Vicenza Oak (or Ferrara)
• Reproductions are often synchro-pore, next to oak and walnut much elm / ash and eucalyptus
• Oaks also in black or anthracite (warm color) and with black pore
• in the office area a lot of functional furniture, e.g. charging points
• lot of leather and velvet fabrics in the area of fronts and tabletops
• the visit is generally less than in the year of Eurocucina
• A lot of marble from light to dark and used in all areas of application tables, highboards, sideboards, on the walls
• a lot of sea pine and birch multiplex panels in stand construction, but also OSB boards, as well as raw chipboard and raw MDF as varnished furniture boards -> topic simplicity / Nordic style
• All exhibitors who were not the traditional italian exhibitors showed much the Light Living style
• Material reproductions such as concrete, stone or metal are often used as accents. ST16 on Uni colors more common in furniture
