 Resistance to impact

The durability of a worktop is essentially determined by the laminate properties such as abrasion, impact and scratch resistance. (in accordance with EN 438). The surface layer makes the worktop very resistant to surface wear and provides safe and efficient maintenance, which is extremely important in the kitchen.

 Easy cleaning and maintenance

Due to its resistant, hygienic and dense surface, Egger worktops do not require special maintenance. Surface cleaning is generally simple and easy, by using warm water and ordinary abrasive-free cleaning agents.

 Availability

A real stone, concrete and metals can be extremely expensive and impractical. But that doesn’t mean you have to give up on them in your furnishing projects – you can achieve their authentic look with Egger wood-based panels. Deep structures, realistic reflection, and subtle haptic effects give the worktops the authenticity of “real material” massive worktops.

Aesthetic

Whether you love rustic or classic wood decors, modern reproductions od marble or concrete, urban aged metal reproduction, you can easily achieve an authentic look by choosing a worktop from a wide range of decors and structures. By technologically refining the structures of wood-based panels, Egger developed Feelwood structures, virtually indistinguishable from solid wood, but with all the benefits of laminate.

The tactile impression has become inseparable from the purely visual perception, which led to creating worktops with all the imperfections of wood, or developing structures with rough sandblasting compatible with concrete, a tactile impression of natural stone with many depths, or velvety, matt surfaces.

The great advantage of Egger worktops is the possibility of combinations with doors, end panels, shelving, flooring, even plinths and lighting, through coordinated interior elements. Full worktops brochure you can download here.

  • High-density protective layer underneath the laminate edge provides extra impact resistance
  • Create the look of solid wood or granite at a lower cost
  • Abrasion, impact, and scratch-resistant
  • No regular maintenance, such as oiling, required
  • FIRA Gold Award and 10-year Guarantee
  • Available in standard dimensions 4.100×600 and 4.100×920

 Squared-edged worktops (model 100/1,5)

The front longitudinal edge is also sealed. The durability of a worktop is essentially determined by the laminate properties such as abrasion, impact and scratch resistance.
